The doors to our original Decatur Street store in the historic French Quarter first opened  nearly 20 years ago, on Leap Day in 1992. We’ve been handing out fresh hot praline samples ever since, getting our visitors hooked on our delicious candies. From the very beginning we were showered with the high praises of our customers' ooh's and aah's, saying "this is the best I have ever tasted," or "these are even better than my mama's!” After winning the Atlanta Gourmet Show's  Best Candy Award, last year  our Original Pralines were named as Best of the USA by bon appétit magazine . All the credit for our reputation as the best candy store with the friendliest people goes to our fantastic Candymakers.

Our French Market shop is a little chocolate chip off the old block! Since we opened this location in 2001, we have been selling the same top quality candies as our original location, freshly made right before your eyes. So come visit us among the Jazz Bands and Fruit Stands!
