1. The Perfect Peanut Butter Candy Ensemble

The Perfect Peanut Butter Candy Ensemble

People all over the world love peanut butter!  “In 1884 Marcellus Gilmore Edson of Canada patented peanut paste, the finished product from milling roasted peanuts between two heated surfaces. In 1895 Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (the creator of Kellogg’s cereal) patented a process for creating peanut butter from raw peanuts.  In 1903, Dr. Ambrose Straub of St. Louis, Missouri, patented a peanut-butter-making machine.  Peanut butter was first introduced at the St. Louis World’s Fair in 1904.”  National Peanut Board

Its creamy texture and flavor is pleasing to all palates and it blends well with so many flavors, including chocolate.  It’s also an excellent source of protein, fiber, iron, and potassium.  Southern Candymakers knows what New Orleans candy you like and what you want more of.  So, it is with great excitement that we are introducing our new Peanut Butter Lovers Box!  Each expertly crafted assortment contains our fresh, handmade peanut butter cups, peanut butter chocolate dipped Oreos® and pretzels, peanut butter Ritz®, Jackson Squares, Bourbon St. bark, chocolate peanut butter fudge, and a peanut butter praline.
