We're unfortunately unable to guarantee Express shipping delivery dates for Hawaii, Alaska, or APO/AE addresses. If you have any additional questions, feel free to call us from 10am to 7pm CST at (800) 344-9773.

 Please refer to the chart below for the last dates to place your order that will guarantee prompt delivery. THERE IS NO STANDARD EXPRESS DELIVERY ON WEEKENDS.     In order to arrive before in time for a weekend event, FedEx 2Day shipments must be shipped by Wednesday, and FedEx Overnight shipments must be shipped by Thursday.

FedEx  Express 2Day December 19th by 12pm CST
FedEx Express Overnight December 22nd by 12pm CST

All online orders may take up to two business days to process for shipment.

General Shipping Information

Shipping & Handling Costs:

Charges for for FedEx Ground, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx 2Day shipping and FedEx Overnight Express will be automatically calculated based on the shipping zipcode. 

Shipping charges apply separately to each shipping address.

International and Overseas Shipping Policies
At this time, we do not ship internationally. For orders being sent to PO Boxes or states and territories outside of the continental United States, please add a $2.00 Surcharge.

Unless specified, all orders will be processed and prepared to ship within 24-48 hours of your order being received.

When placing an order for a major holiday, please order early. Because all of our candy is hand made without preservatives the day it is shipped, we may reach our kitchen capacity during big holidays. Ordering early will help to ensure that your order is shipped on the day you request.

We generally ship Monday through Thursday and try to ship orders as soon as we receive them. Orders placed after 2pm Thursdays will not be shipped until the following Monday. This is to avoid having the candy sit in a FedEx warehouse over the weekend, and to ensure the freshness of our product when it arrives at its destination.

While we will always do our best to get your package to its destination on the day you request, there are no guarantees, only estimates. For important events in a time-crunch, 2-Day or Overnight Express shipping is the best option.

Please enter and double check all recipient information.

  • The full name of the primary recipient (nicknames & additional family names can go on gift cards)
  • Business name, name of college etc. (to specify)
  • Apartment, Unit or Suite number (Please specify.)
  • Phone Number of recipient (Only used by Fed Ex in case the driver need more detailed delivery information. We do not engage in any telemarketing. Please see our privacy policy for more details.)

Please note that we are not responsible for misdirected packages due to misinformation provided on shipping address form.

  • We suggest that you ship to business addresses whenever possible. There is usually someone available to sign for the package and deliveries tend to be made earlier in the day. When shipping to your home address, if there is no one available to sign for the package, it may be left outside and subject to weather, thievery or animals.
  • We use the US Postal Service when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Please note that we are unable to track these packages or estimate delivery time. All other packages are shipped via FedEx Ground unless specified for FedEx Express shipping. We do not ship through UPS, DHL, or any other carrier.

When placing multiple orders to multiple addresses, please note that shipping charges are per recipient. Customers will be charged the 4% State Sales Tax for shipping addresses in Louisiana. Addresses in Orleans Parish will also be charged an additional 5% for the Parish Sales Tax.

FedEx Home Delivery Service

Our default shipping method is FedEx Home Delivery. Orders shipped using Home Delivery service will arrive in 2 – 6 business days depending on how far it has to travel. Allow 7-14 days outside of the continental US. Saturday delivery is available with FedEx Ground shipping for residential addresses only. Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed when using Ground service.

FedEx 2 Day Service

Orders shipped using 2 Day Service will arrive in 2-3 business days. There is no Express delivery on weekends or holidays. If you order on a Thursday, Friday, or within one day of a holiday, we will not ship your order until Monday unless you call to tell us otherwise. Please note that the day the package is shipped does not count as one of the “2 Days.” (For example, packages shipped 2-Day on Monday will arrive Wednesday)

FedEx Overnight Service

This method is always available and encouraged during the warmer months. Orders will be shipped overnight and guaranteed to arrive by 7pm the following day, not counting weekends. There is no Express delivery on Sundays or holidays. Early morning and Saturday delivery is available in limited areas, by request, at an additional charge. Please call/email us for more information on this service or to schedule delivery.

Warm Weather Shipping

Many of our candies can take the heat just fine! In fact, Pralines are built for our steamy New Orleans weather, as are our brittles, nuts, and taffy. Candies made with chocolate (except for chocolate pralines and fudge) will melt in transit once the outdoor temperature rises above 80. 
During our warmer months May through October, we offer special warm weather packaging to protect our chocolates from melting during shipping. Your candy will be packaged with CooLiner Foil Bubble and a cold gel-pack that should stay cold for up to 48 hours. 
We recommend selecting FedEx Overnight or FedEx 2-Day Express service for shipments outside of FedEx transit zones beyond 2 days. (see FedEx zone chart).

We are committed to customer satisfaction, and handle each case individually. Refunds will be provided in the case of spoilage, damage, or error on our part. We cannot offer refunds on orders that are lost or misdirected due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.
